The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”.
The primary purpose of the Senior Online Content Assistant is to work together with the online trade team and optimise the site and help drive all the KPI.
What you will be doing
This role will be responsible for managing products and promotions across all current and future websites UK, US, Germany, Europe, Australia & rest of the world.
The role plays a vital role within the team by working closely with the Trade, Buying, Marketing, Merchandising and Design departments to ensure Promotions, product, and category maintenance is up to date.
Working closely with the wider Web team to ensure smooth and timely season launches. It includes the weekly maintenance of websites, managing product listings across all categories, and overseeing weekly product launches throughout the season while maintaining product detail and listing pages. Additionally, the role requires building homepage content that aligns with key marketing messages. As a product category owner alongside the Trade team, the candidate will collaborate with the Buying team to ensure products are optimised for the best customer experience.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. They should be a proactive and highly motivated team player with strong attention to detail. The ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively is essential. While not required, previous retail experience, basic HTML skills, and experience with Salesforce would be advantageous.

Once upon a shirt, Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler (whilst studying Geography at Bristol University – we might add) had the notion that he could make a better shirt at better value than anyone else in the world! He believed that all men; no matter their shape or size, where they may be in the world or indeed their budget; should be able to own a Jermyn Street quality shirt. A proper shirt. A CT shirt.
That was over 3 decades ago and whilst Charles Tyrwhitt (it rhymes with spirit by the way) is still famous for proper shirts, these days we are about so much more than collars and cuffs. Our purpose is to “make it easy for men to dress well”. We take care of a chap’s entire wardrobe, providing stylish solutions for every occasion. We make sure he gets what he wants, when and how he wants it.
Our spiritual home and flagship store is located on London’s famous Jermyn Street. Our Global Head Office is in London Bridge, whilst we also have an office in Manhattan to support our retail and online presence across North America, Europe and Australia. Not forgetting our Distribution Centre and Contact Centre in Milton Keynes.
